People's Pension Trust is licensed by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA), Ghana, and operates as a Corporate Trustee under the Company Code of Ghana 1963 (Act 179).
We maintain a steadfast focus on the informal sector, which represents over 85% of Ghana's labour force—a segment that lacked access to retirement services until the 2008 pension reform. We exist to bridge this gap, ensuring that every Ghanaian worker, regardless of employment status or income level, can build a secure and dignified retirement.
In Ghana, approximately 80% of the population works in the informal sector. Without an employer or registration of income, they do not build up any form of pension, meaning 10 million people are not prepared for their retirement. We're changing this reality, one contribution at a time.
